The Upper West Side is a neighborhood in Manhattan, bounded on the south by 59th Street, Central Park to the east, and the Hudson River to the west and 110th street to the north.

The Upper West Side is a nexus of concerts, opera, theater, and film - the cultural mecca for national as well as New York audiences. Here lives a major portion of those who fill New York's many stages, intermingled with a locally passionate audience. The area attracts people drawn by a magnificent natural setting, fine brownstones, pre-war apartment buildings, wonderful new luxury developments and the relaxed neighborhood character of the area.

The stretch of the Upper West Side from 59 to 110 street offers historic landmarks and new high-rises offering a modern living along the Central Park strip and further. Fashionable boutiques and restaurants opened along Columbus and Amsterdam Avenues, while Broadway provide a myriad of shopping alternatives including the renowned food emporiums.
